Do you remember private eye Lucas Douglas from last season? House hired him to look into Wilson's life after Amber passed away. He also got down to trying to find out the mystery behind Kutner's death. He appeared in a lot of succeeding episodes though wasn't seen after Wilson and House came back as friends. So yes, Michael Weston is back in House this fall as Michael Ausiello at Ew.com confirmed his return. Though sources didn't say the plot details of his involvement in the story, the mere presence of him stirs up a lot of controversy as to what happened to his character and why he just vanished without a word.
