Lisa Edelstein, our favorite "House" star next to Hugh Laurie, was interviewed by TV Fanatic on the show's coming 7th Season.  Here are the highlights of the interview:

What are we in for this season?

They’re really exploring this relationship between House and Cuddy. What’s great about what [creator David Shore] has done is he’s really incorporated all the things one would worry about in terms of two main characters getting together on a show, into what it means for two people who work together in this hospital to get together. So he gets to confront it head on all of those issues.

Will it be smooth sailing for Cuddy and House?

Absolutely not [Laughs].

Many viewers wonder how House manages to stay employed at the hospital with all of antics?

He also saves a lot of lives. Ultimately, he gets the results and Cuddy really respects him professionally and House knows she’s creating boundaries that he doesn’t know how to make for himself.

The episode "5 to 9" was so great. Will there be another episode from Cuddy’s point of view this season?

Thank you. I was terrified to do that episode because it’s not a show called “Cuddy" and I didn’t want to disappoint the people. I loved doing it, it was great. I don’t know if there will be another one. They don’t tell me those things. They hand me a script and the next day we start shooting it.

How is Cuddy dealing with the baby this season? Any more in her near future?

The baby definitely comes into play with her relationship with House. She’s got to be a part of that. It certainly one of the road blocks. [No more babies coming] that I know of.

Will we be introduced to anyone new this season?

Yes. Amber Tamblyn is coming onto the show. I just met her once and she seems really nice and cool and professional, so that’s good. She plays a new character on House’s team.

Is everyone like a family on set?

Definitely. We have a great group. There’s no crazy person, there’s no jerk or egomaniac. There’s a bunch of smart people who work, are workers, and want to do their job. It’s a nice atmosphere.

Hugh Laurie has a reputation for being very meticulous with his worth ethic. Are you the same way?

I have less of a challenge than he does. I’m not speaking in a foreign accent and I have far less dialogue than he does. I think he’s got a lot more on his plate than I do. Since most of my scenes are with him, I definitely try to show up with my work done so that I know I’m not going to hold up the process in anything.

Ex-Rescue Me and Numb3rs star (and current AssCastles host) Diane Farr will guest in an October episode of Grey’s Anatomy as a patient with Huntington’s disease—the same ailment that Olivia Wilde’s Thirteen is living with on House.

I warned you it was a loose connection. (Cut me some slack; it’s a summer Friday.)

Farr’s character will be under the care of Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and is slated to appear in this season’s fourth episode.

House Spoilers: Jennifer Morrison To Guest Star on "Chase"

TV Guide brings us this news about Jennifer Morrison and Amaury Nolasco appearing together on NBC's Chase.  The "House" star will be "chased" by her beau who plays the role of Marco Martinez.  What a coincidence since Morrison played the character of Cameron who had an ex-husband named Chase on "House".  Read on . . .

Working alongside her real-life ex may not have worked so well on House, but that hasn't discouraged Jennifer Morrison from accepting a role on her current beau's new crime series. Jennifer, so well liked in her role as House's Dr. Allison Cameron until she was inexplicably written off the Fox medical drama last season, will guest star in the sixth episode of NBC's Chase as Faith, a single mother-turned-fugitive who embarks on a bloody killing spree across Texas with her innocent little daughter in tow. That's when she's chased by agent Marco Martinez, played by Jennifer's current steady, Amaury Nolasco.

For Jennifer, it's apparently all about the Chase, as her ex-fiance and former House co-star, Jesse Spencer, plays a doctor named Chase. House producers are debating whether or not to pull the trigger on an option they signed with Jennifer to bring her back for more House episodes later this season.

Yes!  Fancast confirms that Alyson Stoner, star of "Camp Rock 2", will make a "House" call in Season 7.  What role will she be given, read on to know more about it...

Alyson Stoner, as anyone who has seen her in Disney Channel’s original ‘Camp Rock‘ or the eye-popping movie ‘Step Up 3-D‘ knows, has mad moves – and her next move is onto Fox’s ‘House.’

Stoner will guest-star as the patient-of-the-week in the coming season’s second episode, airing September 27.

“I can’t tell you what’s wrong with me,” Stoner, 17, said when Fancast pressed for details on her character’s surely exotic condition. “You’ll have to tune in!”

This much Stoner did share: She trained to play a skateboarder who – presumably, knowing how the show’s opening minute usually go – collapses while out, um, “shredding” (or whatever skateboarders might call it).

Regardless of what her character is put through, Stoner has only raves about her ‘House’ call. “The writers are exquisite," she says, “and Hugh Laurie’s performances are amazing.”

Stoner next can be seen in Disney Channel’s ‘Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,’ premiering September 3.

Fox’s ‘House’ premieres its seventh season on Monday, September 20.

Ausiello: Producers have an option to bring her back for three episodes, but it remains to be seen if that option will be exercised. My guess is it will, but not until later in the season.

Question: Any word on if we will see House babysitting Cuddy’s baby this season on House? —Janine

Ausiello: We will. An early season 7 eppy will find Dr. Crankydoodle spending some one-on-one time with little Rachel. The playdate will underscore one of the biggest challenges facing Huddy. “She’s a single parent, and I think it’s only right that we deal with that issue,” says exec producer Katie Jacobs. “House is her significant other, and she also has a kid. We will explore the reality of what that means and how willing Cuddy is at first to share Rachel and expose her child to the relationship. And because it is a real relationship, I think she feels obligated to.”

House Spoilers: "Nurse Jeffrey" Appisode - "Bitch Tape" #12

This is the second to the last appisode of "Nurse Jeffrey" and the season finale is next Monday Aug. 16.  I wonder what the last appisode is since in the video below by Drhouseforum, Nurse Jeffrey tried to get inside House's office but failed plan B after plan B.  He seems to be getting really nothing out of this.  Watch it to see what I mean...

House Spoilers: David Shore Talks Season 7

Here is what David Shore has for us on the seventh season of "House".  The site thestar.com reveals to us:

This isn't one of those bait-and-switch dream sequences, promises House creator and executive producer David Shore.

"He and Cuddy have a relationship," says Shore. "It is real. The question is, how will House react to the situation? Will he handle it? Can he handle it?"

Shore was speaking at the Fox press tour party this week at the Santa Monica Pier. His star, Laurie, was not at the event, but Edelstein was.

"It's been fun so far, we've shot about four (new episodes)," says the actress.

Edelstein feels the series, now in its seventh season, has reached the point where House and Cuddy "can't not do it anymore."

She acknowledges that this is a critical point in the series. Usually hour-long dramas avoid resolving the will-they, won't-they storyline until the very last episode. When David and Maddie got together on the late ’80s detective drama Moonlighting, for example, many though the show had "jumped the shark."

Hart Hanson, the Canadian-born creator of Bones, has flirted with putting his two appealing leads together (David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel) but isn't ready to have them seal the deal yet.

When asked about it in the past, Laurie has had reservations about House and Cuddy as a couple, feeling his character is on a long, slow, torturous path to enlightenment and, up till now, did not have the courage to seize the day and engage in any kind of serious relationship.

Edelstein says viewers should do what she does and trust Shore to boldly go where House has never gone before.

"The great thing about David's writing is he explores head-on all the things you worry about as a viewer," she says. "I love that he has managed to write those problems in."

Shore, who jokes that he is "the second most successful writer from London, Ontario" (deferring to two-time Academy Award winner Paul Haggis), says that House won't suddenly become a whole new man.

"The big thing is that the show is still the show, and House is still House," he says.

He acknowledged not wanting to explore the two leads as a couple in the past because "it changes everything," he says. "So we put it off, but it seems right now."

It also seemed time to change the show's opening titles. House has seen several cast changes over the years, with one character, Kutner, killed off after the actor who played him, Kal Penn, left to work for the Obama White House (he has since jumped back into filmmaking, working on another Harold & Kumar movie).

This season, "Thirteen" (Olivia Wilde) will take a leave of absence; a new medical student, played by Joan of Arcadia star Amber Tamblyn, has been added to the cast.

Besides overseeing House, Shore has been working on a revival of the classic ’70s series The Rockford Files, which has yet to be picked up. The executive producer insists that project is still alive, with colleagues taking another run at reviving it.

House is one of the most popular scripted dramas on both sides of the border. In Canada on Global, it seemed to benefit the most from the introduction of BBM Canada’s Portable People Meters last September, returning with more than 4.2 million viewers.

"I've heard that," says Shore. "I think that’s because of all my friends and family in Canada."
