House Spoilers: iPhone App Review by TV Overmind

Sam McPherson of TV Overmind made this very good material about the iPhone App of House which is the InHouse.  See it below and tell me what you think of the iPhone App.

In this wintry economic climate, it’s always smart to search the iTunes store for the free applications first, because there are more hidden gems there than you’d expect. Here’s one that I found: InHouse, a free app that is essentially the go-to app for all things House. I believe it’s been around for a while, but as I was unaware that it was free up until this point, I felt it necessary to go ahead and give my opinion.

First of all, I have to say that the graphics are really cool on it. The main menu, comprised of neurons, is especially neat, featuring subtle animation and a nice color spectrum. And, unlike most free apps of its kind, the menu is very, very far from bare bones.

There are several options to choose from, including Appisodes with Nurse Jeffrey and a Dark Room in which to view behind-the-scenes photography. However, my favorite of these is the Houseisms option, which essentially takes the witty House quotes from the most recent episode and puts them in bite-sized form on House’s whiteboard. It’s surprisingly up-t0-date; the app already includes quotes from Monday’s episode “Now What?”

Another cool bit is the music room, which is underdeveloped but still fairly nice. It features a still-incomplete tracklisting of music used on the show (right now there’s only the original score song “Help Me” from last year’s finale).

Finally, there’s the Writers’ Room feature, which has the show’s scribes weighing in on the scripts of episodes of the show. Again, it’s updated to the most recent episode, “Now What?” so you can get pretty up-to-date commentary on the behalf of the writers.

Overall, InHouse is way too good of an app to be free, but for some reason it is. House fans, take advantage of it while you can.

House Spoilers: "Nurse Jeffrey" Appisode - "Bitch Tape" #12

This is the second to the last appisode of "Nurse Jeffrey" and the season finale is next Monday Aug. 16.  I wonder what the last appisode is since in the video below by Drhouseforum, Nurse Jeffrey tried to get inside House's office but failed plan B after plan B.  He seems to be getting really nothing out of this.  Watch it to see what I mean...

House Spoilers: "Nurse Jeffrey" Appisode - "Bitch Tape" #6

Oh no, Nurse Jeffrey was caught and they wouldn't talk.  I was shocked there hearing that Lisa Cuddy was there.  But only the voice was heard.  Was that really her voice?  I wonder.  But I miss House and Cuddy and the whole team.  I can't wait to see Season 7!  Watch this video from MsHousefan.

House Spoilers: "Nurse Jeffrey" is In While We Wait for "House"

If you haven't seen "Nurse Jeffrey" on the iPhone appisodes, you are missing a lot of laughter.  Catch him by downloading for free the "House" iPhone app on iTunes.  Meanwhile, read this article by William Keck at TV Guide.com about "Nurse Jeffrey".

This summer, House fans equipped with iPhones have been having fun downloading comedic mini episodes centered around multilingual character Nurse Jeffrey (Patrick Price) and his vendetta (established at the end of last season's regular TV episodes) to bring down House by gathering bitchy tales from fellow Princeton-Plainsboro staffers with axes to grind. House executive producer Katie Jacobs produced and directed the 13 'appisodes' of Nurse Jeffrey over four days after last season wrapped. They can be viewed on the free inHouse app, with a new installment premiering each Monday at 8pm.

"Nurse Jeffrey has been gathering evidence to bring to human resources and get House kicked out of the hospital," says Jacobs, who says Scary Spice Mel B. told Price she is among those following Jeffrey's exploits. "A lot of the other doctors who have appeared on our show will make appearances, and some are new actors I cast." Among the familiar faces popping up: Dr. Hourani (Maurice Godin), a surgeon who had a very antagonistic relationship with House, Blue the janitor, and Dr. Simpson (Ron Perkins).

As the series nears its conclusion at summer's end, Dr. Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) will be first heard, then seen in the app anthology. And you can also expect a glimpse of the big grouch (Hugh Laurie) himself. "Eventually Jeffrey will want to shift through House's personal stuff," says Jacobs. Will daring to invade House's office be his downfall? We'll have to wait and see.

This storyline will be wrapped up in the 13th installment. Then when House returns in the fall, Jacobs says the hospital will likely see the addition of a new female doc to fill in for Thirteen, who resigns for mysterious reasons (actress Olivia Wilde will be shooting a film). And there might also be a female presence at the hospital in the form of Wilson's ex-wife, Dr. Sam Carr (Cynthia Watros). With their romance solid again, might Carr be looking to park in PP Hospital to be closer to her man?

House Spoilers: "Nurse Jeffrey" Appisode - "Bitch Tape" #3

Oh, no!  This Nurse Jeffrey really hates House.  If  before Nurse Jeffrey showed us the cafeteria, now he toured us in the Pharmacy and wants to implicate House stealing drugs.  Moreover, he accuses House as doing lascivious acts on his patients and people working at Princeton-Plainsboro.  What else does this male nurse have next week?  Tune in every Mondays at 8pm on your "House" iPhone app.

House Spoilers: What Comes After the 6th Season Finale?

Our favorite source, Michael Ausiello at EW.com has an update for us regarding the next thing on House after the 6th Season Finale.  Here it is:

Question: Thank you for the post-finale House Q&A with Katie Jacobs. Do you know if they are bringing in a new female character to fill the temporary Olivia Wilde void? —Deb

Ausiello:
I know of no such plans. Jacobs, however, confirms that Cynthia Watros will be back as Wilson’s former (and current) love, Sam. “She absolutely factors into the beginning of the season,” she says. “Where that relationship ultimately goes I don’t know.” Jacobs notes that this marks the first time that both House and Wilson will be involved in serious relationships simultaneously. “Wilson will be with Sam, and House will be with Cuddy,” she points out. “What does it look like for Princeton Plainsboro thematically? Does it work? We’re going to look at that next season.” Speaking of House, don’t forget to check out the first Nurse Jeffrey appisode next Monday. Click here for a preview.

House Spoilers: InHouse "Open and Shut" Appisode

Watch this appisode about the episode "Open and Shut" where the main topic for all the characters is "open marriage".  Peter Jacobson tries to explain the behavior of Taub while Liz Friedman talks about the idea of open marriage as a very good or hot topic that people will be discussing about.  Indeed they were very successful because it's not often that an issue would linger in the corridors of Princeton Plainsboro.  This is something that they have done the first time.  At the start of this video, from MsHousefan, is a trailer on "Nurse Jeffrey" which starts on May 24th on the iPhone App.  I think this will be hilarious.  What do you think?
