House Spoilers: Olivia Wilde at the BAFTA Awads 2010

"House" star, Olivia Wilde, talks about Jeff Bridges, her co-star in "Tron Legacy" at the 19th BAFTA LA Britannia Awards 2010.  Jeff Bridges will receive the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film.  Isn't she adorable?  Enjoy watching this from MsHousefan.

House Spoilers: Thirteen Will Definitely Return to "House"

[Photo: Spoiler TV]

EW.com has news that Olivia Wilde who plays the role of Thirteen, will be back on "House" this season.  Read on to find out more about her coming back to the diagnostic team.

Olivia Wilde — aka the beloved Thirteen — has some good news for House fans: She will definitely return to the Fox drama this season! Wilde took a leave of absence this fall to shoot a starring role in the big-budget sci-fi Western Cowboys and Aliens but confirms to EW that her comeback is already in the works.

“I am coming back to House. This season, as a matter of fact. It is a done deal,” Wilde told EW while attending the 19th Annual BAFTA LA Britannia Awards Thursday in Los Angeles. “I have been really lucky this year to be offered all these great film opportunities and I was also blessed to have a job in TV that really worked with me to get me to a place where I could do those films and not miss those opportunities like Tron.

“They have it all worked out and the viewers will find out where she went and why she left,” Wilde continued.  “I think it is an interesting progression for her. Thirteen has been through a lot so it has to be escalated.  She has Huntington’s. She had a brain tumor and went blind. She had a bad breakup. She’s sexually ambiguous.  She had problems with drugs. I thought, `What else can (creator) David Shore possibly come up with?’ They had to take it to a whole new level. They are really taking some big risks this year, which is exciting.”

Until then, Wilde said she’s working on the body-swapping comedy The Change Up with Ryan Reynolds, Leslie Mann and Jason Bateman. “We’re shooting in Atlanta. It is so boring and dull. No one laughs. We just sit around and cry all day. [Laughs]. No, it is absolutely the funniest job.” — With reporting from Carrie Bell

House Spoilers: Spoilers for "House" in November

[Photo: FOX]

Before Michael Ausiello left EW.com, he shared some spoilers for the All-New "House" in November.  Here are some:

Question: Any information on when Olivia Wilde is returning to House? —Christine

Ausiello: Probably not until spring. You’ll be happy to know that her temporary replacement, Amber Tamblyn, makes a positive first impression in her Nov. 8 debut. As you would expect, her character — supersmart and moralistic med student Martha M. Masters — gets quite a hazing from House‘s boys club. We’ll soon discover that a member of said club shares a past with House‘s “immutable obstacle,” as Dr. Crankenstein calls her. Other colorful nicknames assigned to the newbie on her first day of work include:

* The Internet with breasts
* Small Wonder
* The love child of Einstein and Mary Poppins
* The Bunny
* Pippy Long Division

Question: House scoop? —Jennifer

Ausiello: House pink-slips a member of his team during November sweeps. Not once, not twice, but three times. Also, three major characters do some jail time.

House Spoilers: Amber Tamblyn on "House"

 [Photo: http://amber-tamblyn.net]

William Keck of TV Guide shares with us some spoilers about Amber Tamblyn's addition to the cast of "House".  Here are the highlights:

Amber's debut in Episode 6 finds Dr. Masters treating an underhanded political campaign manager (Heroes' Jack Coleman), who develops hepatitis C. "I'm the case of the week, so I worked with almost all the doctors, including Amber, who was fantastic," reports Jack. "I think people are going to love and relate to her role — a socially awkward kid who was always a little ahead of everyone else."

Jacobs says it's too soon to pair up Masters romantically, even with randy Dr. Chase (Jesse Spencer). Jesse agrees that they wouldn't be a good match. "She's too uptight for him and too much like what [ex-wife] Cameron [Jennifer Morrison] used to be," he says. "She comes in all wide-eyed and moralistic, and Chase loves watching House devour her. He takes her to the cleaners and it's hilarious."

By the way, Jennifer tells me she wishes Amber good luck in the role. But as for returning to House, Jennifer says she hasn't been in recent contact with anyone from the show. When she left, "they guaranteed me three more episodes — if they write them. So if they do, I'll, of course, make myself available," she says. (No easy task since she's now on CBS' How I Met Your Mother). "But if they decide not to, they still have to pay me."

House Spoilers: Spoiler on Candice Bergen as Cuddy's Mom

[Photo: Zimbio]

Michael Ausiello at EW.com shares with us these meaty spoilers.  See the Q&A below, which is something on Candice Bergen as Cuddy's mom.  And what's to go on between Chase and Thirteen.

Question: Can’t wait for Candice Bergen on House. What is her first encounter with House like? —Joel

Ausiello: He doesn’t know she’s Cuddy’s mom when they first meet, so I’m guessing it’s going to get awkward quick. BTW, two other notes about Candice: She arrives for Cuddy’s birthday, and her two episodes will be nonconsecutive.

Question: Should we read anything into Chase’s sexual overture to Thirteen on House last week? Was he really interested in her, or is it just a case of a horny single doctor? —Elizabeth

Ausiello: Let’s ask exec producer David Shore, shall we? David, should we read anything into Chase’s sexual overture to Thirteen on House last week? Was he really interested in her, or is it just a case of a horny single doctor? “If there is something more going on there, you won’t see it for a while,” he says, “because of Olivia [Wilde]‘s movie schedule [taking her off the canvas].”

House Spoilers: Thirteen Says "Bye" For a While

 [Photo: Spoiler TV]

Olivia Wilde of "House" had her last episode during the Season 7 Premiere last Monday.  How long will she be gone, read the article of Michael Ausiello at EW.com to find out.  Though she will be gone for a couple of episodes, she's definitely going to be back.  We will also definitely miss her.  Can't wait to see her on the big screen, but isn't that over exposure already?  What do you think?

According to series creator David Shore, Olivia Wilde—who took a leave of absence this fall to shoot a starring role in the big-budget sci-fi Western Cowboys and Aliens—will be gone for more than just a handful of episodes.

“It’s going to be a while unfortunately,” sighs series creator David Shore. “We love her but it is going to be a while. It’s going to be this season, but well into this season.”

The news comes as Wilde’s movie career is heating up big-time. The actress has four films in the pipeline (Cowboys and Aliens included), and recently signed a deal to join Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman in the body-swapping comedy The Change Up.

Shore says Wilde’s Change Up shooting schedule won’t further delay her return to Princeton Plainsboro. “She called us up and said she wanted to do [The Change Up],” he explains. “And it just so happened that what we had worked out storyline-wise allowed her a couple of extra episodes [off]. So that movie just filled in the gap. There were no further adjustments to her schedule as a result of that.”

House Spoilers: Olivia Wilde from TV to Movie Actress

[Photo: Spoiler TV]

"House" star Olivia Wilde is heading more towards making movies than staying on TV.  This is because recently, she signed on with another movie project with Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds in "The Change Up" according to Deadline.com.  Read on to find out more about this movie.

In between rounds as House doctor, Olivia Wilde is spending more and more time on the big screen. She has signed to join Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman in The Change Up, the David Dobkin-directed Universal Pictures comedy.  Bateman plays a married man who switches bodies with slacker best friend (Reynolds). Wilde will play the married guy's law firm co-worker, who's an impetus for the body switch. The comedy, written by The Hangover scribes Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, films this fall. Neal Moritz is producer. Wilde will next be seen in the Paul Haggis-directed The Next Three Days opposite Russell Crowe, the Hugh Jackman-Jennifer Garner comedy Butter, and sheplays a digital warrior trapped in a computer world in the Joseph Kosinski-directed Tron: Legacy. She just shot Cowboys and Aliens, the Jon Favreau-directed DreamWorks/Universal film that stars Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford for next summer release.

House Spoilers: "Thirteen Leaves for Rome"

 [Photo: Spoiler TV]

More "House" scoops ... Thirteen is leaving for Rome.  I wonder why.  Hit the comments below for your guesses.  Here is Mickey O'Connor of TV Guide:

I'm so excited for House and Cuddy, sitting in a tree! Give me House scoop. — Katy

MICKEY:
Well, before Huddy settles into a normal-couple rhythm, we'll get the rom-com, soft-focus sex scene we've all been waiting for, including a scar kissing that is actually quite touching. But if the cranky doc pitching woo makes you want to retch, there's this: Thirteen is leaving! It's no spoiler to say that she is taking a leave of absence from Princeton-Plainsboro and has booked a flight to Rome. But why Rome, bella Tredici? That is indeed the question.

House Spoilers: More Spoilers for Season 7 Premiere

 [Photo: FOX]

As Matt Webb Mitovich of Fancast answers these fan questions, a lot of viewers have grown more in anticipation of the Season premiere on Sept. 20.  Here are some of the spoilers for this coming season:

I am so super-excited about the ‘House‘ premiere (airing Sept. 20)! Is it going to live up to the hype? – Lelinor

I think so, especially since Hugh Laurie and Lisa Edelstein act almost exclusively opposite each other in their scenes, and that results in a pretty intense character study à la last season’s psych ward opener. My only quibble is that throughout much of the premiere, House is withholding one whopper of a secret from Cuddy.

Does the ‘House‘ premiere have anything worth watching for someone who doesn’t like “Huddy”? – Sabrina

Well, the Patient Of The Week is a pretty important doctor at Princeton Plainsboro. Also, the episode closes with a nifty twist that I didn’t see coming.

Remember the spoilery pics with House and Cuddy at the beach? They were all over the Internet weeks ago, but we haven’t seen any of these scenes in any promos. Will House and Cuddy really go on a “road trip”? – Ally

At least two trips are planned by one doctor or another. I will say that much.

Are House and Cuddy on a first name basis now, at least outside of the hospital? – DeJune

Why, just because they are “together”? Nah, they still call each other “House” and “Cuddy”… and the occasional “Honeybuns.”

Have ‘House’s opening credits been changed yet? – Sophie

Do you mean, is Jennifer Morrison removed from them? No, her name and clip are still there, at least in the rough cut I saw. UPDATE: I have since been reminded that the press screeners feature temp credits that could change for broadcast.

The new group photo for ‘House‘ indicates that there might be something going on between Chase and Thirteen. Does the premiere give something away about that? – Christina

Let’s just say that Chase drops a huge question at Thirteen’s footsteps – at what either is the best- or worst-possible time.

House Spoilers: Grey's Anatomy/House Crossover?

[Photo: Zimbio]

Is this true?  A "Grey's" and "House" crossover?  What in the world?  Nah, Michael Ausiello at EW.com says that Diane Farr will be guesting on Grey's as a patient with Huntington disease.  The same sickness that Olivia Wilde's character Thirteen has.  Find out below.  Photo credits: Jordan Strauss/Getty Images North America

It’s a Grey’s Anatomy/House crossover…in the absolute loosest sense of the word!

Ex-Rescue Me and Numb3rs star (and current AssCastles host) Diane Farr will guest in an October episode of Grey’s Anatomy as a patient with Huntington’s disease—the same ailment that Olivia Wilde’s Thirteen is living with on House.

I warned you it was a loose connection. (Cut me some slack; it’s a summer Friday.)

Farr’s character will be under the care of Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and is slated to appear in this season’s fourth episode.
