House Spoilers: "Tron Legacy" Photo
[Photo: Disney]
Hey there, check out this photo and article from Zap2It. Olivia Wilde's new movie is "Tron Legacy". Will you be watching this? I will. Let me have your thoughts on this.
Disney has released a new image from "Tron Legacy," and it's in keeping with the rest the material that's been trickling out from the long-in-the-making sequel. Which is to say, it's pretty cool.
It offers an up-close-and-personal view of Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) on a lightcycle in the digital world, squaring off against a faceless adversary. It also highlights how much attention director Joseph Kosinski and the rest of the "Legacy" team have paid to making the sequel look a lot like the 1982 original, with the updates that nearly 30 years of advancing technology (both in real life and in the movie's world) have made possible.
The movie, which also stars Jeff Bridges, Bruce Boxleitner -- both of whom are reprising their characters from the original -- Olivia Wilde, Michael Sheen and James Frain. It's scheduled to hit theaters, both conventional and 3-D, on Dec. 17.
