House Spoilers: InHouse 7x11 "You Must Remember This" Vlog with Kath Lingenfelter

Kath Lingenfelter, the writer of the episode "You Must Remember This" gives us this video blog on her ideas for the storyline. She had this interest in patients that have hyperthymesia and then it developed into a story wherein the patient had to give up her memory to have relationship with her sister. Also in the story, House was pictured in this episode in his very first time as a stable man with a stable relationship giving sane advice to Wilson. She also describes how they had a hard time filming scenes of "Rocky" the action cat from "Stuart Little" and Hugh Laurie. Rocky often purrs so loud in the set and Lingenfelter strongly believes that the reason for this is that the cat remembered Laurie before when they were doing the mouse movie. 7. Worst Caretakers: When Cuddy puts House in charge of watching her daughter Rachel on House, he finds a way to con Wilson into coming over to take over. But when Wilson and House both threaten to leave, the two call a truce and decide to babysit together. Unfortunately, while they were bickering outside for all of  two minutes, Rachel managed to decorate the living room with spaghetti, popcorn and other assorted junk. Plus, they find a quarter in her mouth, which turns out to be the coin she didn't swallow.

In this shot, taken earlier this month, Hugh Laurie, Peter Jacobson, Omar Epps, and Robert Sean Leonard prepare to shoot a scene for a November episode that finds the Princeton Plainsboro docs heading out together for a formal event. No one's saying what the event is but we love the possibility for shenanigans that a work event might bring. As if House would need an excuse for shenanigans. —Abby West

Ausiello: You sitting down? Good, ’cause a little birdie confirms to me exclusively that they were shooting a wedding! Now go ahead and stand back up because the bride and groom are, well, nobodies. At least they’re nobodies to us. They’re somebodies to House and Cuddy, who attend the nuptials along with Sam and Wilson. “None of our series regulars are getting married that I know of right now,” says exec producer and aforementioned little birdie Katie Jacobs. “But weddings tend to be a flash point for couples. And every couple that has to attend this wedding [ends up] examining where they are in their own relationship.” In other House news, the show’s fancy new opening title sequence can now be viewed exclusively on the INHOUSE app.  To find the new titles within the app, go to the MEDIA ROOM section.

House Spoilers: The Huddy Spoiler

Watch out, there are a lot of spoilers in this article below by William Keck at TV Guide.com.  I think that the Huddy experience will be good for both House and Cuddy.  Don't you think it's about time really, that House becomes happy in the 7th Season?  It's like a season give-away for Huddy fans.  It's good to explore possibilities that have never before seen on the show.  There's conflict, a new kind involving domestic issues that could go a long way in the season.  Read below to find out:

House's seventh season will open with Dr. House (Hugh Laurie) acting like "a teenager in love skipping school," whisking Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) away for an idyllic day without the pressures of their hospital and her child, says House executive producer Katie Jacobs. "Anywhere other than Princeton-Plainsboro Hospital is an easier place for them to be together in a relationship," says Jacobs. "That's where we start — 'What if we only have each other?' As their day goes on, Cuddy will learn that the locales they visit hold a secret significance.

Naturally, the lovers can't avoid reality forever. "It would be impossible for Cuddy to spend every day as if her child and her professional life don't exist; a little easier for House, since he is somewhat of a child himself," says Jacobs. "But what's cool about Season 7 is that House is going to try to stay off drugs and have a meaningful relationship. We don't rush through this. It's taken six years to get there, so this is not a story that's going to be done in three episodes.

The true test will come in Episode 2, when the couple returns to work — where she's always on top. What happens, asks Jacobs, "when you're sleeping with your boss and she says 'No'?" As the season progresses, Huddy will toy with getting domestic — and try to do normal "couple" things with Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) and Sam (Cynthia Watros), which could cause additional tension. "Will the four of them get along?" teases Jacobs.

As for the rest of the hospital staff, while Jennifer Morrison signed a deal to return for a few episodes as Cameron (at the producers' discretion), don't expect her to fill the slot temporarily vacated by Thirteen while Olivia Wilde shoots a film. Rather, a search is on for a new female doc, likely a romantic partner for one lucky surgeon. For Cuddy's sake, let's just hope this new addition isn't House's type.

Question: Thank you for the post-finale House Q&A with Katie Jacobs. Do you know if they are bringing in a new female character to fill the temporary Olivia Wilde void? —Deb

Ausiello: I know of no such plans. Jacobs, however, confirms that Cynthia Watros will be back as Wilson’s former (and current) love, Sam. “She absolutely factors into the beginning of the season,” she says. “Where that relationship ultimately goes I don’t know.” Jacobs notes that this marks the first time that both House and Wilson will be involved in serious relationships simultaneously. “Wilson will be with Sam, and House will be with Cuddy,” she points out. “What does it look like for Princeton Plainsboro thematically? Does it work? We’re going to look at that next season.” Speaking of House, don’t forget to check out the first Nurse Jeffrey appisode next Monday. Click here for a preview.
