House Spoilers: Watch Jennifer Morrison's Debut on "How I Met Your Mother"

Here is another update on Jennifer Morrison's guesting on "How I Met Your Mother" from Michael Ausiello at EW.com.

Will she turn out to be the mother? Beats me! All I know for sure is that ex-House doc Jennifer Morrison is joining How I Met Your Mother this Monday as an extremely significant other in Ted’s life. Her character, an architecture nut named Zoey, is smitten with Ted…until she discovers that the fancy new building he’s designing is going to replace the historic one she’s trying to preserve. The following clip from Monday’s episode takes place before the you-know-what hits the fan…

House Spoilers: Amber Tamblyn on "House"

William Keck of TV Guide shares with us some spoilers about Amber Tamblyn's addition to the cast of "House".  Here are the highlights:

Amber's debut in Episode 6 finds Dr. Masters treating an underhanded political campaign manager (Heroes' Jack Coleman), who develops hepatitis C. "I'm the case of the week, so I worked with almost all the doctors, including Amber, who was fantastic," reports Jack. "I think people are going to love and relate to her role — a socially awkward kid who was always a little ahead of everyone else."

Jacobs says it's too soon to pair up Masters romantically, even with randy Dr. Chase (Jesse Spencer). Jesse agrees that they wouldn't be a good match. "She's too uptight for him and too much like what [ex-wife] Cameron [Jennifer Morrison] used to be," he says. "She comes in all wide-eyed and moralistic, and Chase loves watching House devour her. He takes her to the cleaners and it's hilarious."

By the way, Jennifer tells me she wishes Amber good luck in the role. But as for returning to House, Jennifer says she hasn't been in recent contact with anyone from the show. When she left, "they guaranteed me three more episodes — if they write them. So if they do, I'll, of course, make myself available," she says. (No easy task since she's now on CBS' How I Met Your Mother). "But if they decide not to, they still have to pay me."

House Spoilers: Jennifer Morrison, Now at Another House?

William Keck at TV Guide says that Jennifer Morrison is now joining another "house".  This is in Ted's house, "How I Met Your Mother" on Oct. 18.  Read on to find out more about this ...

Spoiler Alert! Jennifer Morrison is back on the lot where she spent more than five seasons as House's Dr. Cameron — but this time she's in a new role that showcases a killer comedic side we never knew she had. Jennifer joins CBS' How I Met Your Mother on October 18 as Ted's new love interest, a mischievous architecture nerd named Zoey Van Smoot — the most likely candidate yet to be the titular mom.

"Without giving anything away, it's a very, very big character who influences Ted's life quite a bit, so we were being very picky with who we cast," reveals creator Craig Thomas. "We'll see Zoey become a fixture of this group's world."

During a break in filming with Josh Radnor (Ted), Jennifer tells me, "It feels natural to be here." A rabid HIMYM fan, she campaigned hard for the role. "I was in Dallas playing a delusional killer on an episode of [NBC's] Chase [costarring real-life boyfriend Amaury Nolasco] when they called for me to come read with Josh." Adds Josh, "She was the unanimous choice" for the part.

Zoey and Ted hit it off when they meet on the streets of Manhattan and start talking architecture. But the budding flirtation sours when she discovers he's been hired to design a new building in the place of the historic one she's protesting to preserve. "She'll be making his life hell," assures Thomas.

But it turns out Zoey isn't all Ted first believes her to be, with one whammy revealed in her first episode. "That complicates things," says Josh. An additional surprise comes a few episodes later when Ted attends a gala event at the American Museum of Natural History and encounters a woman in a sparkling ball gown who turns out to be Zoey. "He gets a completely different version of this girl," says Thomas. "Maybe there's a little rich princess side to her."

So what's the chance of Jennifer becoming a series regular? "I wouldn't rule anything out," says Thomas. "There's something very kindred about them. In the middle of the season, this takes a big, interesting turn. We will be flashing forward to Ted's wedding day throughout the season. We're talking about seeing Zoey's house, and she'll become part of Ted's Thanksgiving Day, much to his chagrin. And I can tell you she's in our season finale. But whether Jennifer's the mother, I just can't say."

House Spoilers: Jennifer Morrison is Zooey, Ted's Love Interest in "How I Met Your Mother"

And this is the confirmation of yesterday's news that Jennifer Morrison might be casted in "How I Met Your Mother".  So, she got the part now.  Bravo!  She is a great actress and her career right now is a boom!  Just like Olivia Wilde who has lots of projects besides "House".  Congratulations to Jennifer Morrison for being in yet another superb TV series.  Michael Ausiello at EW.com has the details:

It’s official: Former House doc Jennifer Morrison is joining the cast of How I Met Your Mother as Zooey, Ted’s new love interest.

And she’s not just any love interest. Zooey’s “the biggest female character we’ve maybe ever added to the show in Ted’s life,” exec producer Craig Thomas declared to EW.com last month. “This is a big arc—a huge arc. It’s going to be a little less date-of-the-week for Ted, which season 5 was.”

So, who exactly is Zooey? As I teased yesterday, she’s a rabble-rousing activist who’s hell-bent on saving the Arcadian, an old New York hotel that’s scheduled to be torn down to make way for the Goliath National Bank tower—which Ted just so happens to be designing.

Cue fireworks!

Thomas describes the Ted-Zooey dynamic as “very complicated and interesting.” Adds fellow EP Carter Bays: “This is going to be a big saga for Ted. [It's] going to be a big overarching story that will take Ted on a journey that we’re really excited about.”

Although Thomas doesn’t come out and ID Morrison as the titular mama, he does concede that season 6 gets “back to the fact that Ted is the ‘I’ in How I Met Your Mother. There’s going to be a huge push forward for Ted on that search.” (Additional reporting by Vlada Gelman)

House Spoilers: Jennifer Morrison in "How I Met Your Mother"?

With Jennifer Morrison as one of the actresses being eyed on coming into "How I Met Your Mother", It may seem that she has found a new "house"-hold now. See the news below from Michael Ausiello at EW.com:

Jennifer Morrison may not just be paying How I Met Your Mother a house call, she may be calling the hitcom home.

Sources confirm to me exclusively that the House grad is among a handful of actresses in the running to play a major new love interest for Ted.

How major? Well, I don’t know if she’s the mother we’ve been waiting to meet. However, I do know that the character—a quick-witted, rabble-rousing activist who initially clashes with Ted over the planned demolition of a historic New York hotel—will appear in as many as 13 episodes this season.

Other names in the mix include Minka Kelly and Jacinda Barrett.

If Morrison doesn’t get the part? At least we can look forward to seeing her on NBC’s new action-drama, Chase; she just shot an episode opposite her real-life boyfriend, Amaury Nolasco.
